Pocono Mountains Hoop Retreat

300.00

Pocono Mountains Hula Hoop Retreat : August 11th - 13th 2017

Located at Starview Log Cabin atop Mount Pocono

The Pocono Mountains are filled with serene energy, clean air & starry night skies. These mountains create space for peace of mind that encourages relaxation & reflection. The Pocono Mountains Hoop Retreat is an opportunity to be immersed in this healing nature with an intimate sized group of hoopers while staying in a beautiful log cabin seated atop Mount Pocono. There will be two hoop workshops - Breaks & Paddles taught by Kat (@Spin_Me_Dizzy) & Floor Hooping taught by Jenelle Madeline (@Nelljen). There will also be yoga - two Vinyasa yoga classes taught by Hooper & Yoga Instructor Kaeli Kluge(@the.wolfwitch). When we're not hooping, practicing yoga or eating healthy meals you will have access to the private pool, hiking trails and the adjoined carriage house which has games like foos ball & air hockey.

There will be shared bedrooms & bathrooms, LMK if you're willing to share a queen sized bed with a friend. Meals will be provided, LMK of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance. There will be a guided tour of Council Cup which was a peaceful meeting ground for Native Americans and is now an overlook spot to view the Susquehannah river and 30 miles of Pennsylvania mountains. The last night of the retreat we will have a fire / LED jam - if you have not spun fire before but want to ***LMK*** so we can go thru a Fire Safety lesson beforehand.

*This retreat is for women/queer femmes/trans-women. A large part of the retreat is to be surrounded & empowered by feminine energy.
